Chief of Clinical Operations

Clinical Services

Summary:
This position is accountable for the overall performance of the Center’s clinical programs. As a senior leader, the Chief of Clinical Operations bears great responsibility for the success or failure of the Center.

Qualifications Required:
Must be an Indiana-licensed psychologist, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, mental health counselor, physician assistant, Master’s-level registered nurse, or nurse practitioner. Significant administrative experience in a behavioral health setting is required.


Health Information Services Manager

Summary:
Plans, organizes, guides and implements the activities of an efficient, effective, and legally responsive health information system. Insures the patient record is current, authenticated, legible, complete, and maintained in a secure and confidential manner.

Qualifications/Degree:
Maintains credentials as required by certifying/licensing body. Participates in professional development in-service programs as required by position. Attends seminars, interacts with peers and reviews pertinent literature to remain current with new developments in the field of Health Information Services. RHIT or ART degree is preferred.


Practice Manager

Clinical Administration

Summary:
The Practice Manager ensures that Center consumers receive services in the most efficient, timely, and courteous manner. Through continual efficiency and customer service improvements, the position plays a primary role in maximizing the number of consumers who have access to quality mental health and addiction services.

Tasks include the direction of all customer service functions, client information management, and maintenance and quality control of clinical records. The Practice Manager provides direct oversight to daily service operations while implementing strategic and operational plans. The position assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the practice activity while promoting collaboration among both clinical staff and support staff. The practice manager works jointly with clinical managers in responding to both clinical and managerial needs.

Qualifications/Degree:
Must possess a high school diploma and at least three (3) years experience of demonstrable leadership experience in behavioral health support services or leadership experience in an outpatient health care setting. A degree in Management, Health Sciences, or a related filed is strongly preferred. Must have strong communication skills in dealing with consumers, physicians and other personnel. Good organizational skills and functional knowledge of electronic clinical record-keeping systems and common office computer applications are essential.


Detox Now Program Coordinator

Summary:
The Detox Now Program Coordinator performs a variety of clinical tasks intended to smoothly assist and track individuals receiving services through the Detox Now grant program. Tasks include assessing individual needs and screening potential program participants, coordination and tracking of referrals, facilitating admissions/discharges from detox providers, providing consultative and collaborative planning services with local hospitals and detox facilities; providing linkage to community resources and providers; data collection and timely grant reporting.

Qualifications/Degree:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Addictionology, or a health related field with at least two years of post-degree experience working in behavioral health. Master of Social Work degree or any other degree that meets the eligibility standards for Indiana licensure as a Licensed Addictions Counselor/Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor preferred. Past work in case management, partial care, residential substance abuse, emergency services and aftercare is strongly recommended. Strong organizational skills and interdisciplinary team collaboration is important. Must possess a good driving record and valid driver’s license.


Adult Case Managers

Qualifications/Degree:
Applicants must possess Bachelor’s Degree or some coursework in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health or related field with experience, preferably in Mental Health.


Adult Therapist

Summary:
Position provides quality, behavioral health services to
individuals and families. Must possess a Master of Social Work,
Counseling, or other eligible master's degree or for Indiana licensure
as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.


Psychiatrist

Summary:
Swanson Center seeks a board-certified Staff Psychiatrist to oversee the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of Center patients. Passion for the work and a dedication to healing and recovery are musts. Competitive salary, paid time-off, and benefits.


Nurse Practitioner

Qualifications:
Experience in a community mental health setting or a background in child & adolescent treatment is preferred.

A successful candidate would be expected to work closely with experienced psychiatrists in a strictly outpatient environment. Flexible schedules and generous time-off allocation are available for dedicated practitioners


Child & Adolescent Therapist

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Master of Social Work degree or any other degree that meets the standards for Indiana licensure as a clinical social worker.
