SUMMARY:
As a member of the Access Center team in Michigan City and LaPorte, intake specialists perform initial intakes for clients served in the Access Center. By virtue of their credentials, they also remain capable of performing treatment and discharge planning; individual, group, and family therapy; follow-up activities; and an array of other tasks within the scope of recognized treatment modalities.
QUALIFICATIONS/DEGREE:
Must possess a Master of Social Work degree or any other degree that meet the standards to be license eligible in Indiana as a clinical social worker or mental health counselor. An Indiana LCSW, LMHC, LCAC or LMFT is strongly preferred. Must possess a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and have a registered four-wheeled vehicle.
